I love making jewelry. I consider many pieces I’ve made over the years a “favorite.” The feeling I get when I make something I ESPECIALLY love is hard to describe. It’s a mix of adoration, exhilaration, and pride! Well, when I finished this latest collection of hand carved letter studs and placed an “A” and an “L” in my left ear, I knew I had a new favorite!

Becoming a mother of two has been a dream come true. Having a boy and girl (and puppy son) is a joy and I feel extremely grateful. Being a working mother is important to me because it fulfills me as a person and I want my children to see their mama’s passion for work. The balance is tricky sometimes but it sure feels good at the end of the day when I see my babies happy and my work is complete! These are some of my thoughts on feeling at peace during these full days of the fourth trimester!

As many of you know, I welcomed my daughter Layla Meadow Kaplicer on July 15. Baby girl is two months old today! Layla is a happy baby girl with a huge smile like her mama. It’s a dream come true to have a daughter/mini me. Big brothers Bear and Asher absolutely adore their sister. Bear loves laying right by Layla and is so attentive to her. Ash loves kissing her cheek and burping her (with mama)! Watching my babies bond has been a beautiful, awesome, and joy-inducing experience.

I created a special playlist for Asher Maxwell when he was in my belly and I recently made one for baby girl. Babies start to hear sounds during Trimester 2 and I want her to hear joyful, relaxing, groovy tunes! I am filled with happiness and love to announce…I AM PREGNANT WITH A BABY GIRL!!!

I love being pregnant! Motherhood is endlessly inspiring and I can’t wait to welcome my daughter into the world! I look forward to seeing Bear and Asher as big brothers to the baby! Watching my two boys bond is one of life’s greatest gifts. It will be magical adding a little lady to their happy, sweet, delicious group.
