Jay-Z doesn’t speak the same language as my bohemian heros John Lennon, Bob Marley, and Jerry Garcia, (among others) but his words can be very powerful. Plus, as a fellow New Yorker, I dig him!!!
His new song, “Forever Young,” played in my mind when I was interviewed for website Sowhaddyado.com on Saturday afternoon. The questions revolved around creating my business and becoming who I am today. I felt very proud talking about Elisa Solomon Jewelry. It feels wonderful to reflect on your life and feel happy about how you act and what you put out into this world. We are not here forever and it is important, even when things get crazy, to be as happy, hardworking, kind, loving, and true to yourself as possible.
