I was very inspired by Tim Burton’s reinvention of the classic “Alice In Wonderland” story. The fantastical, luminescent color palette…the idea of dream versus reality…the whimsy…I loved the film! Lately, dreams intrique me. When we close our eyes, whether at night or while daydreaming, the ideas that come to life can be pretty incredible.
My Spring/Summer 2010 collection is inspired by dreeeeams. The first image above is the 18 karat gold moon necklace with white opals, rose-cut diamonds, and sweet little pearls. Next is the 18 karat gold star necklace with white opals, pearls, and a rose- cut diamond. After that, a special eye pendant, as eyes are the window to the soul and our subconsious. Finally, is the 18 karat gold puff heart ring with white opal, pearls, and a white diamond. I added a heart to the collection since dreams are best when they’re about the things we love most!
