Hey Jude :)

My circle pendant, which I’ve been wearing close to my heart daily 🙂

“Hey Jude…don’t make it bad.
Take a sad song and make it better
Remember, to let her into your heart
Then you can start to make it better.

Hey Jude…don’t be afraid.
You were made to go out and get her.
The minute you let her under your skin
Then you begin to make it better.”

I loooooove “Hey Jude” by the Beatles. It brings me guidance, strength, motivation, optimism. Some people say the song was written for John Lennon’s son, Julian, urging him to try and accept John’s new love, Yoko Ono, after John’s divorce from Julian’s mother.

I think we all sometimes need a little tap on the shoulder, telling us not to be afraid of the unknown. It can be scary to venture into new territory, whether in love, friendship, job, or home. The thing is, quite often when we open ourselves up, the best things are able to unfold.

The song makes me want to live my life, hope for the best, embrace the people I care about, and be excited about the future.

Peace, Elisa
