“Hey Oh” is about repeated attempts at a fresh start at life and how difficult it can be to relieve yourself of past destructive behavior. It is a great song and I believe the message is universal.
I have decided, perhaps with a bit of naivete, that my friends who have recently faced hardships need a good luck token. Something to remind them of the importance of a fresh start. Something to motivate them to be happy and live well, and to leave behind things that undermine their goals. My peace bird is a reminder to fly and live free, my heart charms are a reminder that even broken hearts retain beauty, and my guitar is a reminder to live like a rock star and have some fun. 🙂 Be well and enjoy this special season.
