The image above is iconic. The moment is one of my faaaaaavorite captured from the festival. It shows so many special aspects of the concert: the nature, rain, sunshine, peace, warmth, crazyness, chaos, freedom, and loooooooove. Images like this one get my imagination stirring…I picture what it would have been like to actually be at the festival! Wearing the tie dye! Swaying to the beats! Sinking my fingers into the grass! I want to be the girl under the blanket!!!!!!!
I’d like to think my wardrobe would be quite cute, too. Certainly some flowery dress and worn fringey brown leather sandals. And, THE JEWELRY…….one of my most Woodstock-like pieces is my ancient beaded glass and dyed-bone necklace with gold feathers. And my tie dye hoops would be AWESOME! I’m sure there were plenty of rainbows in the sky during the festival, and I think the colorful, rainbow-hued hoops peeking out of my long, maybe even braided hair would be PERFECT!!!
I get excited just dreaming about it!
