Summer Turquoise

Hi!

Since I started creating jewelry, turquoise has been one of my favorite stones to incorporate into my designs. I love the rugged quality of the natural stones, the cool blue and green hues, and the way it evokes groovy Sixties hippie style.

Native Americans have always valued turquoise because of its beauty and spiritual qualities. They believe turquoise symbolizes water and sky. The Navajo tribe have long treasured the stone and feel it represents good health, bountiful crops, and provides protection.

My 18 karat gold and sterling silver jewels often feature turquoise. Two favorites are the 18 karat yellow gold open heart ring with ombre pink sapphires and turquoise and the 18 karat pink gold daisy stud earrings with white diamond centers and turquoise.

Peace and love,
Elisa
