Magic Stuff

“I’m mixing up a bunch of magic stuff
A magic mushroom cloud of care
A potion that’ll rock, the boat will rock
And make a bomb of love and blow it up”
-“I Did It” by Dave Matthews Band

Dave Matthews’ lyrics can be kooky, yet are so right on. There is an art to his writing with its funky twists and turns- it is almost like a psychedelic experience. The way he interprets and translates various human thoughts, feelings, and actions is incredibly cool. Each song’s lyrics don’t always make sense to me at first, but they are so beautiful and I always find parts that I just love!
“I Did It” is a great song (check out the lyrics on google) and the intro reminds me of the way I felt when starting my latest piece. My materials were scattered all over the place, so I began “mixing up a bunch of magic stuff!”
I’m delighted with this exciting new 26-inch necklace. It combines several of my favorite things. The charm hanging from the center is an 18 karat gold “flying peace bird” and is studded with bright white diamonds. The bird was added to the collection because I think it’s interesting how so many species, such as the bald eagle, dove, and mythical phoenix, are associated with peace. Around the 18 karat gold chain are ancient glass, lapis, turquoise, dyed bone, and 18 karat gold beads. The colors form a red, white, and blue Americana look. Despite any hardships Americans are facing, I will forever be proud to be one and love the color combination!

This is a special necklace- if you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail me. It is also available in a simpler version, with the diamond-studded bird hanging from a 17-inch chain.

Peace, Elisa
