John Lennon was shot and killed 30 years ago. I have to disagree with his quote. I love him now and I believe I would have loved him even MORE if he were alive today. He possessed a magical voice, magical thoughts, magical hopes, and magical dreams. He was an inspiration to people around the world and his legacy continues to inspire the masses.
Every piece that spells the word “love” in my jewelry reminds me of him. I’ve always felt he embodies “love.” From his song “Love” to his strong feelings for his wife and children to his quotes about the feeling (“Love is like a precious plant”), he just had so much LOVE in him! I walk past the Dakota on the Upper West Side whenever I can, as I still feel his presence and spirit up there.
I hope you take a moment to remember this great man on this sad day every year.
