I was very inspired last week. I love nature and I LOVE being outside! East Coast Fall’s are beautiful with crisp air, soft grass, colorful trees, and blue skies.
To anyone who has the opportunity, I highly recommend apple picking! I visited an orchard/farm last weekend and had a wooooonnnnnderful time. I plucked apples from tall trees, ate cinnamon sugar-covered doughnuts (which smelled as incredible as they tasted), sipped steamy hot cider, watched pony rides, and laughed at cute goats and roosters! I chose not to pick a pumpkin, but their vivid, happy orange was delightful to see- they were quite massive, too! I felt happy and relaxed as I picked the red and green fruits. It was a perfect Fall day and it just felt good to breathe in the air.
I think it’s also nice to occasionally bring nature indoors. I was gifted with a sweet bouquet of sunflowers midweek and I loved how the rich yellow color and perky petals flashed before my eyes each time I walked into my kitchen. Such a pleasant sight!
The flowers served as my muse the second they were placed into a vase and I’m THRILLED with the ring they inspired! Stay tuned for images…I promise to post tomorrow!
Peace, Elisa
