Last night I watched the premiere episode of “The Artists Den” featuring Ringo Starr and Ben Harper. The show held special meaning because I saw it live as it was taped for television! I remember sitting in the Metropolitan Art Museum, watching the incredible musicians play magic together. Aside from “I Get By With A Little Help From My Friends,” my favorite song was “When I Walk With You.”
The lyrics paint the beautiful picture of a person’s walls coming down and accepting the great gift of being loved. It’s not always easy to let someone in, especially in the scary world we live in, but I believe love is what keeps us safe, happy, and whole. As the Beatles sang, “Love is all you need.”
I have been so fortunate lately, as my business has expanded into the area of Engagements and Weddings. I met with a sweet couple at Catbird in Brooklyn this week and helped them select their ring. They chose the 22 karat gold and white diamond star ring pictured above. My heart felt happy as I talked with them. The commitment and sparkle in their eyes was a great thing to witness. I hope everyone is fortunate to realize that if they let the right person in, “Everything will be fine.” 🙂
