On the subway this morning, I listened to Smokey Robinson’s 1979 song, “Cruisin.'” Robinson’s words are really beautiful and the themes of music, love, and travel are incredibly powerful:
“Let the music take your mind, babe. Just release and you will find…Music is playin’ for love, cruisin’ is made for love. I love it when we’re cruisin’ together.”
