A Sweet Sparkly Treat

Hi!

When I carved my first food charm, the egg, I wasn’t sure what to expect from the response. I carved a simple sunny side up egg and encrusted the “yolk” with citrines and the “whites” with white diamonds. The response was so joyful that I moved on to other beloved foods including bagel, pizza, and black and white cookie charms! For my newest food charm, I wanted to make another much-loved treat. Ice cream was a very easy choice for me, as it is one of my personal favorites!

While I’m a chocolate/fudge/dough/cake/swirl kind of girl, I decided to recreate a simple flavor my daughter enjoyed as a little one: strawberry! The “ice cream” is set with twelve pink sapphires. I carved a waffle-style texture into the “cone” that has a shiny, smooth polish. I envision this ice cream charm set with different flavors, too. I see brown diamonds for chocolate, yellow sapphires for vanilla, apatite for cotton candy, and peridot for pistachio! Contact me if you’d like your favorite flavor.
