While many of my pieces are delicate, I have a passion for working on super weighty pieces. My popular Custom 6 Point Star Charm is on the smaller side so I decided to make a more substantial, eye-grabbing star. I personally love the colors blue and white and those hues inspired me when I was working on this. They made sense for this piece since they’re the colors of the Israeli flag. I decided to combine all the different blue shades together. My goal was to make something whimsical and bright while also precious and timeless.
I’m sharing images of the creation process here because this star is very special to me. I wanted to document the steps I took in making these beauties. The Opal and Turquoise Large Star Charm is set with blue sapphire, opal, turquoise, and white diamond. The Blue Sapphire and Turquoise Large Star Charm is set with apatite, aquamarine, blue sapphire, turquoise, and white diamond.
